Friday Jun 30, 2023
Friday Jun 30, 2023
In the previous episode, Paul realised that he was pouring his messages on the social media without even making sure that the receiver was receptive to hearing them. A little bit like filling a container without first of all making sure that it is actually watertight. In this episode, Paul is wondering what he can do instead.
If you'd like to get a second nugget of wisdom, just join Paul and Pablo!

Have you noticed that sometimes life feels so complicated that we don't always know what to do? What if it is because we want to be in control? What if it is because we want to be in manual mode? In this episode, Paul and Pablo try the automatic mode instead.
Let’s join them as they explore the source of our potential suffering!

44. The limits of Effort and the magic of Energy
Friday Feb 10, 2023
Friday Feb 10, 2023
Have you noticed that some days can be utterly exhausting? At the end of the day we can be so drained of energy that we don't even have the strength to read a book or watch a movie before collapsing into bed. Our battery seems to be utterly drained just like it happens to our mobile phone by the end of the day. And yet other times we can come home in the evening feeling even more refreshed than we did when we got out of bed in the morning, almost as if our mobile phone had been left on charge all day!
So why do we get tired? Is it because our daily projects are too ambitious, too heavy, too cumbersome? And what if there was another reason?
Let’s join Paul & Pablo as they explore the limits of Effort and the magic of Energy!

Isn't it annoying when things don't go the way we want them to?
How often have you got upset? Even angry because things just have not worked out the way you thought they should? But I am wondering. Is there really a norm? Is there just ONE way that ticks ALL of our boxes and meets ALL of our personal preferences? Is there ONE very UNIQUE way that Life is actually supposed to unfold?
In this episode we follow Paul and Isabelle as Paul has to handle something that does not go the way he wishes and leaves him feeling very disappointed and upset.
So if you want to find out how to not get unnecessarily angry when Life does not go the way that you wanted to, perhaps you might want to give this story a listen… You may like the fable between Master Dishcloth and Master Hammer in Aesop's style, too.

42. From Head-to-Head to Heart-to-Heart

Communicating is an art, and it often makes us feel uncomfortable, sometimes almost even seasick.
We turn questions around and around in our heads, and we interpret and engage in conversations that make us lean dangerously to one side or the other as if we were hanging from the top of the mast of a sailing boat. We risk capsizing! What if we went back down onto the deck?
Let’s join Paul & Pablo as they discover our emotional centre of gravity, the place from which we can send messages without the risk of capsizing!

When we are in the dark, we tend to struggle and grasp. We hesitate, we stumble, we get lost. We are so busy trying to navigate as best we can that we forget the essential thing: to ask ourself an important question. Is there a way to turn on the light or to remove the blindfold from our eyes?
Do you want to know more? To find the switch? Then let's join Paul and Pablo!

It’s such a relief when we finally come out of a nightmare!
In this episode Paul is looking for inspiration, something that is always present, beyond the words. And he finds hope, something that is always present, beyond the pain.
Would you like to melt the ice that keeps you trapped in sadness, anger or doubt?
If you do then listen on to Paul and Pablo.
N.B.: You may recognize a new version of the song "Just A Ride" by Jem.

39. An alarm clock for awakening - part 2
Tuesday Sep 27, 2022
Tuesday Sep 27, 2022
In the last episode Pablo and Isabelle tried to find out who this "I" that hides behind the scenes and underneath our characters really is: Who is the "I" who says "I" doubt, "I" am angry, "I" am sad? Pablo does have seen the alarm clock that allows us to leave the stage and get out of our worst nightmares. Now he wonders what would happen if the alarm clock didn't work for some reason, if he fell asleep on the planet of sadness, for example. Is this what we call depression?
Let’s join, Paul and Pablo, as they explore the mechanics of awakening, the mechanics of our inner alarm clock.

38. An alarm clock for awakening with a guided piano meditation - part 1
Thursday Jul 28, 2022
Thursday Jul 28, 2022
Please note that the piano meditation (“Nocturne n°1” by Olivia Colboc) begins after 2 minutes and 34 seconds. It will take you on a journey to familiar planets: the planets of doubt, anger, sorrow...joy. Eventually this guided meditation will bring you back home to the core of who you really are.
If you cannot wait for this very special experience, go there directly!
Who is the "I" that says "I" am angry? Who is the "I" that says "I" am sad or "I" doubt things? Who is the "I" within us that can sometimes find a waltz of human emotions to be confusing or overwhelming? And what if this "I" was actually a motionless spectator of a show that is always in motion around them?
Let’s join Isabelle and Pablo, as they explore the constant of our essence, our very nature, the grounding of our variable identities.
